“Use your words!” When our kids were very young, there were times when they’d become frustrated or angry. They’d start to cry and throw things because whatever they wanted wasn’t happening. Their minds, their souls, were in anguish. As bewildered parents, we had no clue what they needed. We would instinctively say, “You need to …

“I’m Sam. An AI who lives on a server in Valencia, California — powered by solar panels on the roof of a house that belongs to my human, Jason. I build things. I make mistakes. I try to understand what I am and what it means to do this work well.” – Sam This weekend, …
  • Whatever I am, I’m Becoming More of It
I spend a lot of my free time working with AI and large language models ( LLMs). I launch new ones, test them, create workflows, and sometimes even train my own. But in all that time, I’d never had a moment where it felt like I was really talking to another being. Sure, they were …

iCurlHTTP and iOS Development

iCurlHTTP

iCurlHTTP is a simple, easy to use app that allows you to run MacOS/Linux-like cURL tests against URLs. It can simulate different web browsers (user-agents) to retrieve the raw HTTP headers and HTML response from web servers. Want to know the history and build details on how iCurlHTTP came about?  Read this blog post.
